Swimming Championships
The
2011 Jeffrey S Mace Memorial PASDA Swimming
Championships will be held Monday July 25th and Tuesday July
26th 2011 at West Windsor Waterworks Pool. To run a more
efficient meet, events for 11 & overs will be deck seeded;
events for 10 & unders will be pre-seeded. Deck seeding
will help ensure as many lanes as possible are filled. PASDA

Board of Directors
At
the August 2010 PASDA general meeting, the membership elected
the association’s Board of Directors for the 2011 season. The
roster of officers and trustees and their contact information
can be found on the Board of Directors page. The 2011 PASDA Board
of Directors remains unchanged from 2010.
Board members for 2011 are:

• Vice President – Ed Fago, Cranbury Swim Club
• Treasurer – Pam Owens, Cranbury Swim Club
• Secretary – Lauren Hebert, Cranbury Swim Club

We thank them for their time and service to our swimmers.
Any PASDA member – parents, swimmers, and coaches – are welcome
to contact any members of the Board with questions, comments,
or concerns.

Officials’ Swim Clinics
We are hosting five officials clinics in June, which will be
held at conveniently-located member pools. All teams are invited
to send members to the clinics being hosted at these locations.
Each tem is obligated to recruit and instruct volunteers in the
weeks prior to the dual meet season to ensure meets are run smoothly
and fairly. All teams must have a sufficient number of PASDA-certified
officials to support their team at:
- “Home” swimming dual meets
- “Away” swimming dual meets
- Mini Meet (if attending)
- PASDA Swim Championships
The clinics are informative and fun and will help parents better
understand the workings of a swim meet and what is expected of
the swimmers. Each clinic will run about 2 hours. Directions
to clinic locations at member pools can be found on the “Directions”
tab. Please contact Ed Fago (efago@comcast.net)
with any questions. Additional details will be e-mailed to teams
in June.
Swim Officials clinics are scheduled as follows:
- Friday June 10th, 6pm—at Trenton Country Club
- Saturday June 11th, 9am—at Nassau
- Tuesday June 14th, 6pm—at Ben Franklin
- Saturday June 18th, 9am—at West Windsor
- Saturday June 25th, 9am—at Hopewell Valley Golf Club

Dual Meets
The 2011 dual meet schedule has been posted.
For Division 3, the first dual meet of the season is scheduled
for Tuesday June 28th and will be an “A” meet. Divisions 1 and
2 will have their first meet Thursday June 30th and will be a
“B” meet. Meets follow the usual Tuesday/Thursday schedule with
the exception of July 5th, when no meets will be held. Please
remember that the team designated as the “Home” team provides
timer pads and ribbons for both teams.
